GREY HEAL COUNTRY HOODIE
Designed, created and printed in Australia.
This super warm and comfy grey hoodie features Erin's Heal Country design. This jumper technically says 'mens' but I have been wearing it since I got it.
This years NAIDOC theme is Heal Country, there are many interpretations of what this means to individuals but I like to think of it as giving our time back to our mother earth. Our Mother has provided and cared for us all of these years and now she is getting old and tired, we need to give back to her.

A word from the artist:
I brainstormed what this could look like, and ended up using hands and eucalyptus leaves to represent healing and country. For anyone who isn’t aware, eucalyptus leaves are used for healing purposes in many Indigenous communities, such as smoking ceremonies. By blending hands and eucalyptus leaves together, I wanted to demonstrate the interconnectedness of these concepts, and show that each is dependent on the other. We can’t heal without country, and country can’t heal without us. I did the initial drawing on Illustrator, and then sent it through to Kayla for processing. She added the lovely type, and blended my initial drawing (the hands) with the drawing behind.
